It’s hard to believe it’s almost time to celebrate Thanksgiving—where has 2019 gone? Life gets busy, but it’s nice to take a few minutes (or more if you can) to reflect on all of the things to be thankful for. That tends to happen for me when it’s time to write these letters. October was full of great moments for our team, both personally and professionally.
I took my family to visit my parents in California. We enjoyed spending time in their backyard in Riverside, it’s an oasis for R&R. We got to visit Huntington Beach and even went camping at Silent Valley. Silent Valley puts on a huge Halloween celebration where everyone decorates their camp sites and the kids get to Trick or Treat. Such a good time away! Charlie dressed up as Cat Boy (PJ Masks) and ate way too much candy!
I’m very proud of Angie for receiving an exclusive invitation from our partner, Safeco, to attend a conference downtown that celebrated women in business. Nancy Lieberman was the key note speaker and from what Angie described, an incredible inspiration. Many strong women spoke and I love that Angie was able to bring back information to help our agency really elevate to the next level!
We had the honor of delivering a donation check to our friends at Metrocrest Services. Our referral program gives back…more details below!
Rachelle had a great month as well, starting with winning a team happy hour at Rock N Brews! It’s amazing what a business card can do. We had a blast together and enjoyed some cooler weather on the patio. Thank you, Rachelle!
Max has been busy playing volleyball in his spare time. Don’t worry—he hasn’t given up on music! Max will be performing with the Sherman Symphony Orchestra on December 7 and 8 for their annual Christmas POPS! Concert. Santa will even be there—bring the family and be sure to check out the coloring contest. It’s sure to be a blast.
We hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends.
